WE THINK YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS ! Everything you like to do at a music festival is here---without the heat and humidity, or rain.
It's the first SUNSHINE STATE ACOUSTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL, Saturday, October 1 at the 1914 Plant City High School Community Center-- just east of Tampa
A big, beautiful, AIR CONDITIONED historical school building with a great auditorium and lots of spaces to do it all!-- workshops, jams, a songwriter's panel; storytelling ; instrument displays ; CDs and other musical merchandise for sale.
A great slate of performers will be on hand to entertain you begining at 11 AM and throughout the day and evening.
A wide variety of music, all live: country, folk, old-time, vintage jazz, bluegrass, singer/Songwriter, and more. Youth performances , too!

You'll find fascinating historical displays in the school building, presented by the East Hillsborough Historical Society.
The East Hillsborough Historical Society will also be offering food for sale so you won't even have to leave the building to get something to eat!
There is plenty of comfortable seating in the auditorium and in the food area. You may want to bring your own seating for comfort in other areas.
And there's plenty of free parking at the festival site and, there are camping and RV facilities not far away.
From the west on Interstate 4, take exit 19 for FL-566 E, merging onto Thonotosassa Road. Then turn left on Baker Street, merge onto Reynolds Street, and turn left on Collins Street. The festival site will be on the left.
From the east on Interstate 4, take exit 21 for FL-39, Buchmann Highway. Turn right on FL-39 South, North Wheeler Street, left on East Herring Street, left on Collins Street. The festival site will be on the left.
Admission for the entire event will be $15 for those age 13 and up. Admission for children aged 6 to 13 will be $5. Kids below 6 years old will be admitted free.
